Quantification of adipose volume reduction with a prospective study analyzing the application of external radiofrequency energy and high voltage ultrashort pulse duration electrical fields

on Jan 11 2016
To date, there have been no objective measurements of subcutaneous volume loss following treatments with a noninvasive radiofrequency (RF)-based device. Twenty female patients were treated with a suction-coupled bipolar RF device using external RF energy combined with pulsed electromagnetic RF energy for subcutaneous fat reduction. Parameters followed included weight, Vectra measurements of abdominal circumference and torso volume, and high-definition ultrasound measurements of fat thickness. Measurements were taken before treatment and three times following treatment. DOWNLOAD PAPER

A novel non-invasive radiofrequency dermal heating device for skin tightening of the face and neck

on Jul 03 2015
Loose, lax skin is a common cosmetic complaint. Previous non-invasive skin tightening devices had modest efficacy and were associated with pain or downtime. New technologies may allow for effective skin tightening with a series of radiofrequency (RF) treatments with no downtime. Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of a novel bipolar RF device for skin tightening. DOWNLOAD PAPER

Noninvasive Skin Tightening and Body Contouring

on Jan 01 2014
Mankind has long been obsessed with achieving the so-called “perfect body”; in differing times and different circumstances, the ideal body has evolved. Currently, in our image-obsessed culture, many people possess a strong desire to lose weight to achieve their perfect body. Unfortunately, obesity is an epidemic in our culture and weight loss is a challenging goal for many. While traditional dieting and exercise remain the best way to lose weight and maintain the weight loss, this may not work for all patients. Even patients who have achieved weight loss may continue to have small “problem areas”. As a result, patients are increasingly turning to their physicians desiring new technologies to help achieve body contouring and the ideal body. DOWNLOAD PAPER

A Clinical and Biological Evaluation of a Novel, Noninvasive Radiofrequency Device for the Long-Term Reduction of Adipose Tissue

on Dec 23 2013
A novel, noninvasive technology, utilizing suction-coupled radiofrequency (RF) heating and ultra-short pulse duration, high-voltage electrical pulses was studied for its efficacy and safety on adipose tissue reduction. DOWNLOAD PAPER
