7 Tips to Get Your Clinic Visible Online

on Jan 14 2022
Standing out against competitor aesthetic clinics can be challenging, particularly online. There are many ways to appeal to different demographics, from social media to email marketing. How do you know what’s going to work? How do you begin to craft your brand’s personality? At InMode, we have years of marketing experience within the health and beauty industry marketing. Here are our top tips to help you grow your clinic online. 1. Create a Brand Identity Your brand identity is how your brand is seen and known by others. It includes your brand’s logo, aesthetic, fonts, colours, design of assets, and tone of voice. It’s important to keep this brand identity consistent across all touchpoints. Touchpoints are anywhere your customers interact with your brand, including social media, emails, online ads, therapists, and more. A brand guideline outlines all the fundamentals of your brand’s personality, such as tone of voice, catchphrases, important keywords, and more. Creating a brand guideline is wise, as you may have multiple people helping with marketing activities. It will help your branding look cohesive, further cementing your brand’s identity when you’re crafting your aesthetic industry marketing campaigns.  InMode Tip: Use InMode's branding resources to ensure your clinic's brand identity aligns with our high standards of quality and innovation. Benefits Having a strong and consistent brand will help with brand recognition, which will make your advertising efforts more effective. It builds trust and credibility, this is important for aesthetic brands as customers want to be sure they will get the quality of service they are paying for.  It can build customer loyalty which in turn can help with price sensitivity.  Example Here is one of our Instagram posts. In it, we show our brand identity through the use of our brand colours, fonts and logos. 2. Build Your Website Your website should be built around your brand guidelines, include relevant information, and be optimised for online spaces. Conduct research before diving into building your website. This helps you establish what appeals to your target client base and what kind of content will be necessary not only for them but also for your search engine optimisation (SEO). Consider hiring professionals to build your website if you don’t feel tech-savvy enough to do it independently. Many agencies and freelancers can help with this. Sit down with them and work out all the details for how your website should look and feel with expert professional insight. InMode Tip: Feature InMode technologies on your website to highlight that you’re at the forefront of innovative technology in this industry.  3. Build Your Local Focus If you have a general idea of the local demographic you’re appealing to, you can build your brand guidelines, website, and content around this. It’s better to appeal locally, as your clinic will likely require in-person visits for treatments and procedures. Try reading reviews for other local clinics, browsing social media, and investigating local listings online. Utilise Google My Business to find statistics and other relevant information. All of this will help you garner a better understanding of your probable clientele. 4. Leverage SEO & Content If you search for your clinic or the services you provide and you don’t appear on Google, it means your website has a poor Google ranking. This is where SEO comes into play. Many factors affect your ranking, but, in layperson's terms, Google is trying to provide the best and most helpful content for the person searching for it. For more detailed information on what SEO comprises, it would be wise to consult an SEO expert. That said, there are several actions you can take to positively affect your results, such as: Ensuring Your Website is High Quality It should be mobile-friendly It has a fast loading speed All content is kept up-to-date Utilise Relevant Keywords Identify and target one specific keyword or phrase for each website content page Try using free online keyword tools to find related keywords for your target audience Informative Content The more helpful and quality content you have using your target keywords, the higher you will rank. It is also a great way to show you are an industry expert. This ties into Google’s EEAT (experience, expertise, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness) criteria. For aesthetic clinics, there is a lot of content to target. Writing about the technology you use at your clinic, post-treatment care, and the benefits of different procedures and products can all contribute to your EEAT. When you’re utilising InMode technology, we’re here to provide you with all the resources you need. Whether you have questions yourself as a clinician or want to share more detailed information with your clients, we’re here to help.  InMode Tip: Highlight the benefits of using InMode technologies in your content to showcase your clinic. From being the most innovative technologies on the market to the remarkable efficacy that means your clients don’t need as many sessions to see results, communication can make a world of difference when a client is deciding what kind of treatment to choose.  When you’re an InMode provider, we’ll also feature your clinic on our Find a Provider page, giving you another backlink and another way for clients to find you.  Local SEO Google ranks local businesses higher as it is more beneficial for users. For example, if someone in Sydney searches for aesthetic clinics near them, Google will offer the best-ranking beauty clinic in the area. 5. Leverage Paid Advertising There are long-term and short-term marketing solutions. SEO and content are examples of long-term marketing solutions; investing in them will likely net you results over time. Paid advertising is an example of a short-term marketing solution. When you invest in effectively targeted advertising, you may see a quicker turnaround in interest and potential customers.  Google ads are a good option if you know that your target clients tend to search for the solutions your clinic offers. Talk to an expert about setting up paid advertising, its potential benefits for your clinic, and more business tips for online growth. 6. Leverage Social Media Social media is a fantastic free tool that every clinic should leverage. Advertising on social media is a great way to target a specific audience if you are trying to grow awareness of your clinic and its treatments. It allows you to send updates and build a community with loyal clients.  Many customers look for brands' social media channels to see if a brand is well-established and trustworthy. By maintaining a presence, replying to reviews and joining conventions, customers can see your level of customer service and will feel more confident investing in you. It’s also a good place to showcase before and after photos and share the InMode technologies you use. From face and body sculpting with Morpheus8 to reducing pigmentation and boosting the skin’s elasticity with Lumecca, the results speak for themselves. This not only gives more tangible results for people to see but also helps to position you as a reliable expert in the industry.  7. Customer Reviews Your business requires clients to have a lot of trust in them, as your services affect their appearance.  According to research, 84% of people trust online reviews almost as much as a personal recommendation. A different survey found that 72% of consumers say that positive reviews make a business more trustworthy, increasing the chance of buying a product or service. Go out of your way to ask for reviews via email or by talking to your clinic's regular clients. InMode is here to help you explore the world of aesthetics. Our tips to grow your business online are brought to you by experts in the industry. For more information, contact our team today.
The Best Treatment Plan to Boost Collagen

The Best Treatment Plan to Boost Collagen

on Jan 07 2022
The loss of collagen is one of the biggest drivers for patients to seek aesthetic treatments. As collagen naturally depletes over time, it results in signs of ageing such as wrinkles and sagging skin. Patients often expect miracles from their doctors without understanding the problem to begin with. It's a good idea to equip your patients with all the relevant knowledge to get the best results. A well-rounded treatment plan including prevention, healthy lifestyle/ diet and appropriate procedure will guarantee the best results.  What is Collagen? Collagen is a protein that makes up around three-quarters of our skin. The word 'collagen' is derived from the Greek word 'kólla',  which translates to glue. Not only is it vital for our skin, but it provides structural support for bones, cartilage, tendons, organs, blood vessels and ligaments. When collagen begins to decline in our 20's, it leads to physical changes such as wrinkles and sagging skin(along with internal effects such as breaking down of muscles and joints). Healthy Lifestyle 'Prevention is better than a cure', so they say, but in this case, ageing is just a fact of life. Although, there is some measure we can take that will slow down the effects of collagen depletion. Her are well-documented collagen damaging activities that are best to avoid Smoking and second-hand smoke. (British Journal Of Dermatology) Inadequate sleep. The average person needs 7-9 hours a day.  Uncontrolled stress. chronically high cortisol decreases collagen production.  Not enough exercise. Although unclear why, some studies have found exercise slows down the ageing process. (Harvard School of Public Health) Excessive sun exposure. Ultraviolet radiation reduces collagen production. (Antioxidants, Basel) Collagen Diet As we all know, the saying 'you are what you eat' holds much truth. Clients can't expect us to work magic on the outside if they aren't looking after their insides. The 'Collagen Diet' has been spoken about for many years, thankfully, it's pretty comprehensive and easy to follow, unlike most diets.  It is essentially a balanced diet rich in diverse plant foods for antioxidants, protein-rich foods like eggs, legumes and meat, and food that includes Zinc and Vitamin C.  There is little evidence that suggests collagen can be retrieved from collagen supplements; experts recommend that you eat a healthy diet (Harvard School of Public Health) to support your collagen level. Collagen Boosting Procedures  During consultation, often clients will come to you with more than one skin concern. Whether it is to tighten and lift sagging skin, reduce fat pockets on the neck or improve the overall texture of their complexion. With InMode’s Morpheus Pro workstation, you’ll have the ability to give clients the results they are looking for. Morpheus Pro workstation includes both Forma and Morheus8 technologies.  Forma The Forma, is commonly referred to as a non-surgical facelift. It uses auto-adjusting, non-invasive, thermal skin treatment that applies deep and uniform tissue stimulation. These dermal and sub-dermal heating technologies use Radio Frequency (RF) energy to stimulate the formation of new collagen and improve the body’s skin elasticity for long-lasting and remarkable results. A simple and efficient way to tone and tighten skin with zero downtime, Forma works well for all skin tones and types, on almost any part of the body. Morpheus8 Morpheus8 is the leading fractional RF microneedling procedure to remodel, repair and rejuvenate the skin of the face and body. It stimulates collagen production of the underlying layers of the dermis and is the only technology to treat subdermal tissue at three levels in a single pulse (up to 7mm + 1mm heat profile). Concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, pore size reduction, remodel hard-to-reach areas such as the periorbital area, forehead, inner arms and delicate female region.  Call us today to learn more about creating the perfect collagen-boosting treatment plan for your patients using InMode technologies.

A Guide to Skin Tightening & Brightening Foods

on Dec 28 2021
You are what you eat, the words drilled into us from a young age. In many cases, it’s true that foods impact the way our bodies respond and function, including how they look. We’ve tried pampering face masks made from home ingredients like honey and avocado for skin tightening but here’s a list of the top foods dermatologists recommend to purify, brighten and for skin tightening the natural way.  At InMode we believe in pairing treatments with a balanced diet and exercise for longevity and optimum benefits.  Even with all of the impressive treatments out there, skin isn’t just about what you do to it. Truly healthy, radiant skin glows from the inside out, with certain foods leading the charge in their brightening and tightening effects. The skin is our body's largest organ, and maintaining its health is essential not just for our overall well-being, but also for our self-esteem and confidence. While numerous creams, serums, and treatments tighten and brighten the skin, many of us overlook the impact our diet can have on our skin's health. At InMode, we believe in pairing our effective, cutting-edge treatments with a balanced diet and exercise for optimal results with longevity. From face and body contouring to anti ageing procedures, our radiofrequency (RF) technologies complement a healthy lifestyle for gorgeous, glowing skin.  Let’s bite into how superfoods can help our skin health and appearance, and which ones to start with. How Food Can Help With Skin Health You’ve heard it before, but you are what you eat. Our diet is much more than a source of energy – it's the fuel our body requires to function optimally, and this extends to the health and appearance of our skin. When we nourish our bodies with a well-balanced, nutrient-dense diet, we provide our skin with the tools it needs to stay healthy and look vibrant. Foods That Help With Skin Tightening Foods filled with essential vitamins, antioxidants, and minerals can promote collagen production, which is crucial for skin elasticity and can help combat the effects of ageing. Similarly, foods rich in certain nutrients can promote a brighter, more radiant complexion. Here are some of the most powerful ingredients for a radiant, tight and bright complexion. Water While not a food, water is so essential for glowing, gorgeous skin that it doesn’t go without saying. Drinking water is critical for skin health and a clean and clear complexion.  Water helps maintain your skin's optimal moisture levels, preventing dryness and flaking, and contributes to a plumper, more youthful-looking complexion. It also facilitates the body's natural detoxification process – flushing out harmful toxins – and promotes efficient nutrient distribution, ensuring all the skin-healthy nutrients from our diet reach our skin cells. In a nutshell, water is your skin’s best friend.  Green Tea Another non-food, green tea is a skin-secret weapon. Rich in potent antioxidants, green tea fights against skin-damaging free radicals. It also has anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce skin redness and irritation. Regular consumption of green tea can contribute to a brighter complexion, making it a valuable addition to your skin health regimen. Turmeric This vibrant yellow spice boasts seemingly countless benefits for the skin. The active compound in turmeric, curcumin, is renowned for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It can help soothe inflammation, reduce acne and breakouts, and protect the skin against free-radical damage that accelerates signs of ageing. It can also brighten the skin, adding a luscious, natural glow. Avocado The creamy and delicious fruit beloved by many is also a powerhouse of nutrients beneficial for skin health. It is rich in healthy fats, vitamins E and C, and antioxidants, which help hydrate the skin, promote collagen synthesis, and protect against free radical damage. The result can be smoother, plumper, and more youthful-looking skin. Olive Oil Another beneficial ingredient for skin health, olive oil is rich in monounsaturated fats and vitamin E. It helps to moisturise the skin, leaving it looking soft and supple. Its antioxidant properties also protect the skin from free radicals, aiding in preventing fine lines and wrinkles.  Cruciferous Vegetables Vegetables like broccoli, kale, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts offer significant benefits for skin health. Packed with vitamins A, C, and K, and fibre, these vegetables aid in collagen production, skin cell renewal, and detoxification. They are also rich in antioxidants that protect the skin from free radical damage. Incorporating these nutrient-dense vegetables into your diet can lead to a healthier, brighter-looking complexion. Berries Packed with an abundance of antioxidants, vitamins, and fibre, berries — such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries — are one of our skin’s greatest allies. Their high antioxidant content combats signs of premature ageing, and the vitamins they contain promote the production of collagen. Plus, their anti-inflammatory properties can help soothe skin irritation and inflammation. Regularly eating these fruits can significantly contribute to achieving a healthier, more resilient, and glowing complexion. They’re tasty, too. Nuts When it comes to skin-friendly foods, nuts – especially almonds and walnuts – deserve a special mention. Almonds, rich in vitamin E, an antioxidant, aid in protecting the skin from environmental stressors. Their high content of healthy fats also contributes to skin hydration. Walnuts, on the other hand, are a rare source of omega-3 fatty acids in the nut family. These fatty acids strengthen the skin cell's membranes, locking in moisture and nutrients that keep it plump and glowing while keeping out toxins that can damage skin cells. Garlic Garlic doesn’t only make most food better, but it also offers significant benefits for skin health. It's packed with antioxidants, vitamins A and C, selenium, and a compound called allicin. These properties equip garlic with potent antibacterial and anti-inflammatory abilities, combatting acne and skin infections. Eggs A common staple in many diets, eggs are not just a source of high-quality protein but also a boon for skin health. Egg whites are rich in albumin, a protein that helps tighten the skin and shrink pores, and egg yolks are packed with vitamins A, D, E, and biotin – all of which are vital for maintaining skin health and enhancing its glow Eggs are also a good source of selenium, a potent antioxidant, and zinc, which plays a critical role in the skin's healing process. Skin Tightening Treatments With InMode From nutrient-packed berries to good old-fashioned water, the foods you consume provide essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that support skin health from the inside out. Ready for the Holidays? Here’s our list of stocking fillers to include in your clinic:

on Dec 21 2021
Want to include beauty gift vouchers in your clinics this season?   At InMode, we know getting treatments using state of the art technology can be a costly matter for clients, so why not turn some of those treatments into gifts for their loved ones this season? This season is all about giving, and these gift ideas are great to push as stocking fillers for clients and their loved ones.  Below we have listed three treatments that we think everyone would love in their stockings this Christmas, that are sure to last all year long as gift ideas.  For beauty clinics, we recommend pushing these treatments as gift vouchers:  Forma, the celebrity facelift everyone is talking about!  Have you heard of the non-invasive facelift everyone is talking about? The benefits from Forma are fantastic and having a treatment like this in your clinic is essential for those wishing to stay away from the more invasive surgical procedures whilst still getting a lot of the benefits. This treatment is best in 3 or more sittings and takes only 30 minutes, meaning it can be a lunchtime procedure with no downtime.  Lumecca, away with pigmentation and freckles!  Sun be gone. Lumecca is great for the coming autumn months after Christmas dies down and you want a gift that will leave clients happy with a more even skin tone and less pigmentation.  Pigmentation and sun discoloration treatments are more popular than ever with clients wishing for flawless skin and with the Australian sun always above us, there’s no doubt this treatment is great for your clinic and your clients. This is a great treatment to include in packages now for clients to use in the cooler months.  Diolaze, rid yourself of pesky hair forever!   There’s nothing like laser hair removal to permanently rid yourself of pesky hair. As many of us know, laser hair removal, depending on the region of the body, should be done in the less sunny months to stop exposure to sensitive skin. However, there are still areas of the body that can be done all year round that aren’t exposed to the sun and as this is not a costly treatment, it works wonders as a gift voucher in someone’s stocking.  For more questions on what treatments are best suited in your clinic, contact us here!

Cutting Edge Treatments with MorpheusPro

on Nov 12 2021
MorpheusPro isn't just another skincare device; it's a revolutionary platform that marries radiofrequency (RF) technology with microneedling and fractional subdermal remodelling. This powerful combination targets a wide range of skin concerns, including skin remodelling, acne scarring, and pesky fine lines and wrinkles. What is MorpheusPro? MorpheusPro is a cutting-edge workstation by InMode that combines the use of combines RF technology, microneedling, and a method called fractional subdermal remodelling. This means that MorpheusPro is able to go deep into the skin and target the fibro septal network – where the energy from the tool contracts the skin to remodel or contour the body. This cutting-edge platform is equipped with Morpheus8, Forma, and Morpheus8 body, maximising its potential as a full-body application. Basically, it’s a multi-purpose, full-body contouring machine that can tackle skin issues like wrinkles and fine lines, acne scarring, and cellulite. Morpheus8 Morpheus8 is a leading fractional RF microneedling device for the treatment of facial surface irregularities such as fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scarring. Morpheus8 has the power to remodel hard-to-reach areas such as the periorbital area, forehead, inner arms, and the delicate female region, as well as quickly and effectively remodel the collagen and subdermal adipose tissue in larger body areas.  By focusing on the subdermal layers of the skin, Morpheus8 tightens and contours the face and body at a level that’s unachievable with traditional microneedling. It’s a critical component of the MorpheusPro platform, providing the depth of treatment needed for significant, long-lasting results. Forma Another crucial technology integrated into the MorpheusPro workstation, Forma uses bipolar RF energy to offer thermal skin rejuvenation and help stimulate the formation of new collagen, improving the skin's elasticity over time. When combined with Morpheus8, Forma enhances the skin’s tightness and contouring effects, offering patients a full-face solution for skin rejuvenation. One of the unique advantages of Forma is its ability to deliver prolonged exposure at therapeutic temperatures, which improves not only treatment efficacy – but also patient comfort. This technology is specially designed to treat areas such as the forehead, upper and lower eyelids, nasolabial folds, jowls, and neck. Even better, it’s been described as feeling like a warm, relaxing facial RF massage with absolutely no downtime. Forma is suitable for all skin types, making it a versatile addition to the MorpheusPro workstation.       Treatments with MorpheusPro MorpheusPro packs a punch with its multi-faceted capabilities, offering transformative treatment solutions for a myriad of skin concerns. From reducing acne scarring and smoothing out fine lines to comprehensive skin remodelling, MorpheusPro does more than just scratch the surface; it revolutionises skin health from within. Skin Remodelling MorpheusPro takes skin remodelling to a whole new level – it delves deeper to provide transformative changes from the inside. Its technologies target the subdermal layers of the skin to induce remodelling that’s long-lasting. Leveraging the combined power of Morpheus8 and Forma, MorpheusPro uses RF technology to heat the underlying layers of the skin. This process stimulates the body's natural healing response, which results in increased collagen and elastin production. Why is this important? Well, collagen and elastin are the key building blocks of our skin that keep it firm and plump. As we age, our natural production of these proteins decreases, leading to skin sagging and the formation of wrinkles. This treatment helps remodel the collagen within the skin and promote new collagen growth, leading to a tightening effect and improved skin elasticity. This means the results are not only immediate but also continue to improve over time as the body produces new collagen in response. Acne Scarring Dealing with acne is challenging enough, but the scars it often leaves behind can also affect self-esteem. MorpheusPro offers a lifeline for those struggling with acne scarring, providing an effective solution to smooth out the skin's surface and reduce the appearance of stubborn scars. Leveraging the power of RF energy and microneedling, MorpheusPro directly targets the deeper layers of the skin, breaking down scar tissue and promoting the production of new, healthy skin cells. This dual-action process stimulates the body's natural healing abilities, resulting in skin that's more resilient and vibrant. Fine Lines & Wrinkles Fine lines and wrinkles are a natural part of ageing, but with MorpheusPro, they don't have to define your skin. These revolutionary anti-ageing treatments offer an effective way to smooth these signs of ageing and restore a more youthful-looking complexion. By promoting the production of collagen and elastin (the building blocks of youthful, resilient skin), they help to fill in wrinkles and smooth out fine lines from the inside out. InMode’s MorpheusPro is a revolutionary solution for a variety of skin concerns. With its industry-leading RF technology and advanced treatment techniques, MorpheusPro provides results that are not only immediate but also improve over time.  Discover the transformative potential of MorpheusPro at InMode - you and your patient’s skin deserve it. Why Treatments Don't Stop in Winter

Why Treatments Don't Stop in Winter

on Aug 13 2021
The shift from summer to winter not only affects our wardrobe, but significantly impacts our skin, too. The cold, dry winter air can make our skin prone to dryness, breakouts, and various other issues. Our skincare routine needs a seasonal update, just as our closets do, to better protect and nourish our skin in the colder months. Winter presents us with specific facial skin concerns such as dry skin, UV damage, vascular lesions, hyperpigmentation, and the appearance of freckles. Body skin also tends to show discolouration, a mismatch of skin tone, paleness, dryness, and, surprisingly, an increase in hair growth. Luckily, InMode's cutting-edge treatments, such as Lumecca, DiolazeXL, and Vasculaze, are designed to address these common skin concerns. Lumecca works to counteract hyperpigmentation, freckles, and vascular lesions, DiolazeXL effectively handles unwanted hair growth, and Vasculaze targets vascular lesions. Let's dive deeper into why your skin will thank you for keeping up with treatments during the winter season. Common Face Issues in Winter As we navigate through the winter season, our face is often the first to feel the brunt of the harsh weather. Several common facial skin issues tend to flare up during the colder months, leaving many of us grappling with new skincare challenges. Some of the most common issues include: Dry Skin During winter, your skin is up against a variety of moisture-zapping factors. Chilly winds outside and warm, dry air indoors can strip your skin of its natural oils, leading to a loss of moisture and making the skin feel tight and dry. This moisture deficit often manifests as flaky patches, rough texture, a feeling of tightness or itchiness, and in some cases, can exacerbate skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Skin's natural exfoliation process also slows down when it's dry, leading to a buildup of dead skin cells that can make your complexion look dull and lifeless. The drop in temperatures also causes blood vessels to constrict, which can deprive your skin of necessary nutrients, worsening the dryness. UV Damage While it's easy to associate UV damage with sunny summer days, it's crucial to remember that the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays are present all year round, even on the cloudiest winter days. This continuous exposure can lead to skin damage, contributing to premature ageing, hyperpigmentation, and in some cases, increasing the risk of skin cancer.  Just because you're bundled up doesn't mean you can skip the SPF! It remains an essential part of your skincare routine, winter or summer, to protect your skin from the harmful effects of UV radiation. Vascular Lesions Vascular lesions, including spider veins and broken capillaries, can become more noticeable during the winter months. This is due to the dramatic temperature changes when moving from a cold outdoor environment to a warm indoor one, as these fluctuations can cause blood vessels to contract and expand rapidly. These small, dilated blood vessels can create red, web-like networks on the skin that may cause cosmetic concerns. Pale skin associated with winter can make these vascular lesions appear more prominent, which underscores the importance of proper skin care and treatment during these chilly months Hyperpigmentation Hyperpigmentation refers to the darkening of an area of skin due to an excess of melanin, the pigment that gives skin its colour. During the winter months, existing hyperpigmentation can become more pronounced. This may be due to the lower light levels in winter, causing the skin to overproduce melanin as a form of protection.  Freckles Freckles, small, concentrated spots of pigment, are generally a result of sun exposure, and they can darken or multiply as a result of UV radiation. Even in winter, freckles can still darken. Just because the weather is cooler doesn't mean your skin isn't still susceptible to the sun's effects! Common Body Skin Issues in Winter As we bundle up for winter, our body skin also bears the brunt of the colder weather. Many people experience skin issues and changes in skin tone and hair growth during the winter months. While these issues might be hidden under layers of clothing, it's important not to neglect them. Discolouration & Mismatch of Skin Tone As your skin sees less sun, it may become lighter, revealing areas of uneven pigmentation or previous sun damage that was masked by a tan. This discolouration can occur anywhere on the body, making your skin tone appear patchy and uneven. These changes can be due to a reduction in skin cell turnover during colder months or prior sun exposure that has caused permanent changes in pigment cells. Pale Skin Winter months often mean less exposure to sunlight, leading to paler skin. This can exacerbate the appearance of blemishes, dark spots, or discolourations. While embracing your natural skin tone is always recommended, for some, this seasonal change may lead to a desire for treatments that rejuvenate and revitalise the skin's appearance Dry Skin The dry and often harsh winter air can sap the moisture out of your skin, making it feel tight, rough, and uncomfortable. This dryness isn't just limited to your face; the skin all over your body can experience these changes. This lack of moisture can disrupt the skin's barrier function, making it susceptible to irritation and inflammation. Hair Growth Interestingly, our body hair growth may also increase during the colder months. This is due to the body's natural tendency to grow more hair to help insulate itself against the cold. In modern times, where most people have heating in their homes and warm clothes to wear, this additional hair can often be seen as more of a nuisance than a necessity. How InMode's Technologies Help As we grapple with these common winter skin issues, it's comforting to know that InMode's cutting-edge treatments are designed to combat these problems. With Lumecca, you can brighten up your complexion and tackle those stubborn chilly winter skin issues. DiolazeXL InMode's DiolazeXL is an advanced diode laser system designed to target and reduce unwanted hair growth. Winter is an ideal time to undergo DiolazeXL treatments, as the skin is less exposed to the sun. 7 Skincare Tips for Post-Treatment Aftercare for Healthy Skin

Are you going to be having a skincare or body treatment? If so, you’ll need to double down on aftercare. Everyone’s skin will react slightly differently to treatment, meaning you’ll need a custom aftercare program to ensure you’re getting the best recovery and results possible.  Caring for yourself following any treatment or procedure is essential. Just like coming home after a day in the sun, you’ll need to take extra steps and be gentle with your skin and body to ensure your safety and recovery. At InMode, we try to make the steps of caring for yourself a more straightforward, helpful process with the aid of our experienced team. Here are seven skincare tips post-treatment. 1. Follow Post-Treatment Instructions Your clinic or aesthetician will provide you with detailed instructions after every treatment. It's vital that you follow them, even with our minimally-invasive and non-invasive procedures, because although our treatments have minimal downtime, these will help the aftermath run as smoothly as possible        These instructions may include conditions such as sleeping in an elevated position and avoiding other facial movements, facial massages, skin or dental treatments and procedures for at least two weeks. All of these instructions are here to help you recuperate in comfort. You can request a physical copy of your post-treatment aftercare instructions or have them emailed to you for reference. 2. Use a Gentle Cleanser If you have oily or acne-prone skin, a salicylic gel or benzoyl peroxide wash may work wonders. For dry or mature skin, try using either a moisturising glycolic or milky cleanser. It is important to remember that if you have just had an InMode face treatment done (such as Morpheus8), the procedure will leave your skin in a highly sensitive state. For this reason, we recommend that you avoid all skin care products that contain any kind of ‘active ingredients’ such as retinol, alpha hydroxy acids and Vitamin C. You can incorporate these products back into your regime three to five days after your treatment or as recommended by your experienced clinician. 3. Avoid Excessive Sun Exposure Following a skincare treatment, especially treatments that involve IPL, like Lumecca, you should limit your exposure to direct sunlight. This is because your skin’s protective barrier is weakened, leaving it vulnerable to damage. UV rays from the sun are unrelenting and harsh; they can cause extra damage to your skin if you’re in the sun for too long. Certain post-treatment aftercare recommends reducing all prolonged contact with heat, including saunas, hot tubs and even hot showers. Try wearing hats, carrying a parasol or umbrella, using face covers and taking cool showers for post-treatment aftercare. 4. Use Sunscreen In line with limiting your sun exposure, using sunscreen is the number one rule for all skincare – and that includes skincare tips post-treatment to keep your skin healthy while also improving your recovery. The importance of sunscreen can never be overstated. Although some people feel they only need to protect themselves on sunny days or when visiting the beach, the truth is that we need to protect our skin all the time.  Daily UV exposure contributes to the visible signs of ageing and can further harm your skin as it tries to heal following a skincare treatment. But what kind of sunscreen is best? Choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a SPF of 30 or greater — and remember that it needs to be reapplied every two hours. InMode’s Insight: 90% of fine lines are caused by sun exposure, which makes sunscreen the ultimate tool for younger-looking skin. 5. Moisturise & Hydrate Your Skin The key to post-treatment aftercare is supporting your skin barrier through hydration. Healthy skin needs this barrier to both protect your body and facilitate healing after a treatment. This doesn’t just mean using an occlusive moisturiser but also drinking plenty of water and fluids to replenish your skin from the inside out. Occlusive moisturisers act as a barrier between your skin and the outside world. They prevent water loss and protect your skin in its fragile state post-treatment. With regular use during aftercare, it should allow your skin’s barrier to heal in a healthier, sustainable way. When used in conjunction with plenty of water intake, hydrating your skin may help with post-treatment aftercare. 6. Limit Heavy Makeup & Products You may be tempted to slather on makeup or skincare products in order to combat any side effects post-treatment, but we urge you not to. It’s better that you don’t congest or overload your skin. A gentle cleaner, effective moisturiser and high SPF sunscreen will do the trick during your post-treatment aftercare. Your skin is likely to be more inflamed and irritated after a skincare procedure. During this time, protecting your skin’s barrier and limiting the amount of chemicals and products it's exposed to will help replenish that barrier. Heavy makeup or skincare products can also clog your pores, which may cause further inflammation or irritation. Give your skin a much-needed break. 7. Avoid Harsh Products & Ingredients Tying in with limiting your use of makeup and products, you may have to opt for gentler products during your post-treatment aftercare. Every skin is different, and every skin aftercare plan should be tailor-made. Ask your clinic or aesthetician how long you should avoid these harsher products, whether that’s retinol, AHAs or BHAs. Every skin barrier is unique and can take time to recover properly. Healthy, glowing skin is the ideal end result and caring for it with gentle products will help you achieve this. Avoid diving into your usual routine too quickly to prevent slowing your recovery process. By caring for your skin properly after your treatment, you’ll also help to maximise the benefits you’ll get longer term. How Laser Hair Removal has revolutionised the Beauty industry

on May 31 2021
Unwanted hair has always been a point of contention for countless women and men who dream of smooth and soft skin without all the tedious time taken to get rid of it, only to have it grow back days after!  The options for hair removal are endless. From waxing to threading and shaving to tweezing, every option provides varying benefits and results. Laser hair removal is arguably the only option for hair removal that offers a more permanent approach to getting rid of your unwanted hair. Accessible and affordable, laser hair removal has come a long way since its inception and effectively revolutionised the entire hair removal industry.  How does our laser hair removal work? Laser hair removal works by sending the light of a laser through the pigment in the hair. This (light) converts to heat, which damages the hair follicle and hair bulb. This damage inhibits or delays future hair growth.  Thus unlike other traditional methods (waxing, shaving, etc), our laser hair removal technology impacts the root of the problem, rather than offering a temporary solution. Our InMode laser hair removal technology: DiolazeXL is proudly a leader in the laser hair removal category.  How is InMode different from other laser hair removal technologies? World’s first multi-wavelength workstation, the Triton is the only laser hair removal option that combines the three most popular wavelengths in one platform, using Fusion Technology. With multiple outlets, Triton optimises power, speed, and results, making it the ultimate laser hair removal system in the market. DiolazeXL has built-in safeguards to ensure that all sessions are comfortable. DiolazeXL targets coarse and stubborn hair, up to skin type VI. Some key benefits: Gold standard wavelength, pulsing and power for optimal results and maximal safety. Reduction in clinician treatment time – powerful enough to target and treat even the most stubborn hair with a “Glide mode”. Comfortable treatment due to strong built in cooling. Can treat up to skin type VI. With one of the largest treatment spot sizes, the DiolazeXL makes treatments immensely convenient and fast.  InMode's technology only requires a few sessions for reduction in hair growth and smooth and hair-free skin. Areas the DiolazeXL can treat: Facial Hair - DiolazeXL is a safe and convenient solution for addressing unwanted facial hair such as sideburns or chin hair. Body Hair - The large treatment surface of the DiolazeXL handpiece enables an easy and fast process for the removal of unwanted hair from large areas such as the back, chest, stomach and legs.
