What is Forma?
Forma and Forma Plus are InMode’s innovative, non-invasive skin and collagen modelling device. By utilising RF (radio frequency) skin tightening technology, it serves to stimulate collagen production to improve the skin’s elasticity for a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.
Forma is primarily designed for the treatment of the more delicate areas of the face, including the forehead, upper and lower eyelids, nasolabial folds, jowls and neck. It’s ideal for those looking to address early signs of aging, like fine lines, wrinkles, and skin laxity. It uses radiofrequency technology to heat the deep layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production and improving skin elasticity.
Forma delivers comprehensive, long-lasting and transformative results in as little as five treatments. It can be used in conjunction with other InMode technologies, including Morpheus8, as a treatment plan that aims to boost collagen while simultaneously contouring and toning the skin. Forma Plus is the larger, advanced iteration of our original model, designed to achieve the same exceptional results but to treat all areas of the body. Like Forma, it uses radiofrequency technology but is optimised for treating larger surface areas. The treatment is deeper and more powerful, making it suitable for addressing skin laxity in larger body areas.
It’s especially indicated for use across the abdomen, thighs and arms. This expands the capabilities and range of treatment options that this innovative device can deliver. By utilising targeted bipolar RF technology in both dermal and subdermal zones Forma/Plus by InMode can help tone and contour without any invasive measures.
It delivers a supremely comfortable treatment designed to improve texture irregularities in the skin for a more taut and lifted appearance. Forma/Plus can be found exclusively in the OptimasMax multiplatform.

WHY FORMA?
Forma uses radio-frequency technology to provide optimal skin contraction in the deep layers of the skin. Radio-frequency energy stimulates the formation of new collagen and improves skin elasticity. Forma is a treatment that instantly lifts, tightens and contours the skin with no downtime. Most people find Forma as a hot stone massage making it as the perfect 'lunch time lift.'
HOW DOES FORMA WORK?
Forma is a collagen-stimulating treatment designed to prompt the body to regenerate its own collagen levels to achieve a smoother complexion with improved skin elasticity.
It features radio frequency-carrying electrodes that generate therapeutic levels of heat. Intelligent design ensures even heat distribution that’s comfortable for the client while also delivering uniform treatment across the targeted area.
Forma utilises skin-monitoring sensors, including a contact sensor, high and low-impedance sensors and an epidermal thermal sensor. These serve to deliver the optimal treatment temperature quickly and effectively while consistently monitoring the temperature of the tissues themselves. The Forma sensors deliver skin temperature feedback 1,000 times per second for precise and consistent treatment.
If the treatment temperature varies by as little as 0.1℃ below the set target or the clinician moves the device to a new area, the device will reactivate the RF heating automatically. Forma will automatically adjust and facilitate extended, pain-free treatment sessions at a lower but effective temperature.
Longer sessions of dermal heating deliver improved results, while the client enjoys a mild and relaxing level of heat that delivers a high standard of collagen modelling. Patients can expect firmer, smoother skin with improved contour and texture, particularly in areas where skin laxity is a concern.
